A CAMP TO REMEMBER

Power10 Camp was an incredible experience for more than 50 breast cancer survivors from around the country who made their way to Michigan’s Leelanau peninsula this June. Over four days these rowers, at all levels of experience and distance from their diagnosis, drilled in technique, pushed their limits, and deepened connections to the sport and their teammates.

An all-star coaching staff was led by former Olympian, MIT Women's Coach and survivor rowing pioneer Holly Metcalf and ROW Programs Manager Jackson Krupnick. Rowing was the focus of activity, but the real lesson was the universality of doubt, struggle and the need for connection throughout our lives, and sport as one vehicle to find strength and support.
